I record shadows; the signifiers of existing things. From shadows we can define the presences of objects and spaces, each other and even ourselves. The art works are documents; transcriptions of things that have passed; the insignificant and perhaps easily overlooked. The definite marks which constitute all of the drawings signify that I have witnessed an event; that I was there.
The process applied to such documentation is sympathetic to such subtleties and adapted for the diverse shadows that they describe.
